The falling snow couldn't cool off Reno's anger as he rolled three large snowballs in the ShinRa courtyard. Frustrated, he stacked them. Dead grasses from the garden became golden hair. Blue glass stones from the Koi pond became eyes. Muttering, Reno zigzagged his finger across the face for an angry mouth.

Bare fingers gathered snow into the perfect ball. Back to the snowman, Reno prepared his attack. He spun around, letting the ball of ice fly. Too late he saw the white chest it hit was made of cloth, not snow.

Rufus smiled. "And here I came up to apologize."

Reno stuck his head around the corner. There was no sign of his attacker. Gun up, just about to slip down the empty hallway, he was hit hard from behind. The weight knocked him over, the plastic gun skittered across the floor.

“UGH! You got me!” Reno said, rolling onto his back, hands up in defeat.

The blur of soft, red hair giggled and bounced on Reno’s belly without mercy. “Oh Dad! You’re so funny!”

From the doorway of the kitchen, a throat cleared and two sets of aquamarine eyes looked up.

“If you two are finished, dinner is ready.”

"Why do you do that?" asks Rude. He'd just been wetly sneezed upon by his partner. Whenever Reno sneezed, he followed with two sharp coughs. He looked like a cat trying to get up a hairball. It was … annoying.

Reno looks over from his side of the cockpit. "Keeps the demons out," he replies, as if Rude should know these things.

"Demons?" Rude asks, eyebrow arching over his shades.

"They get in when you inhale after sneezing. Coughing keeps 'em out."

"You really believe that crap?" Rude smirks. He knows it is actually wearing shades that blocks the demons from entering.

Reno stood behind Rufus, looking uncomfortable as the president hunted through his desk for his favorite 'lucky' pen. He'd already dumped out the waste paper basket, torn the drawers apart and now was on his hands, crawling around under his desk, which gave the red-haired Turk a very nice view of his boss' ass.

"Can't you sign them with another pen?" Reno asked.

"You have no idea, do you? NO! All official business is done with that pen!"

"Umm Boss?"

"Yes?"

"Remember that dildo you really liked last night?"

"You didn’t."

The pen was found. The paychecks signed. Except Reno's.

"Nothing," Reno answers, stuffing whatever it was into his pocket. Thunder cracks outside and the redhead jumps.

"Reno, what are you hiding? I saw something."

Whimpering, Reno pulls the item out from his pocket. "It's a worry doll. It keeps me safe from the lightning while you're gone."

Vincent moves closer and leans down to look at the handmade doll. It's about two inches in length and looks just like him. Valentine is touched. "Well, you can put it away now. You have the real thing."
